Still interesting to see.
I left the UK when I was 3 and a half. I'm sure I must have seen Troughton, given my mother clearly had watched him from her comments. But I have no recollection of seeing any Troughton. And yet I clearly remember waiting for the sports to be over that my grandfather would watch, for the very short episodes of Tom and Jerry!

Love the Saturday morning TV line up - language lessons.
Proper Grandstand with some actual sport followed by a triple bill of Tom & Jerry, Doctor Who and the Monkees would have kept me very happy as a child (and now, if I'm honest).
