The next Kaleidoscope event will be BBC 2 at 50 on Saturday 6th September. It's been a tough process of elimination, especially with 50 years worth of television to work with, but I hope you'll enjoy the final line-up, which can be found here bit.ly/bbc2-at-50. Please feel free to share the details with anyone you think will be interested.

I presume you mean the 6th of September as the 8th of September is a Monday. Unfortunately I can't make the sixth which is a shame as I would have liked to have seen This Man Craig's only surviving episode.

Thanks Ray. It's been really difficult to come up with, as there was just so much we could have shown.

I may have a little something for Room Two at the next Pop Goes the Talbot event, which can also be combined with it going back into an archive. It's missing and nearly 50 years old. And it's NOT Top of the Pops! Do PM me Tim.

By kind permission of the BBC and BFI, we will premiere material from the forthcoming Out of the Unknown DVD release. Material will include an excerpt from 'Satisfaction Guaranteed', 'Random Quest' along with the World premiere of colour restored footage from 'Liar.' Another day when I'd like to have eyes and ears in both rooms at once :-) I'll be there, of course rail tickets already bought.

I look forward to seeing you both there. It's been a very tough one to programme, as there was just so much to go at and we've been really lucky to get hold of as many guests as we have, so the main room is a bit more interview heavy than normal.

Gutted that I can't actually make this any more, due to prior commitment that I'd forgotten all about..!

Just a quick reminder that the Kaleidoscope BBC 2 at 50 event will start at midday this Saturday (6th Sep) at The Talbot Hotel, Stourbridge. There's been a few last-minute changes to the line-up, so please check that all the people and programmes you want to see are still in the schedule ( bit.ly/bbc2-at-50) and if you do join us on Saturday, remember admission is free, but we'd appreciate a donation to the RNLI team who will be with us on the day. Guests will be Julie Stevens and Clive Doig with a specially recorded introduction to This Man Craig by John Cairney. We also have an exclusive preview of the new BFI Out of the Unknown DVD release which includes two colour restored clips. Thanks and I hope to see you on Saturday.

Still at The Talbot and just about to to go to bed but many, many thanks to Chris Perry, Tim Disney, Tony Currie and the Kaleidoscope guys for a wonderful day. the highlight for me was Julie Stevens in a fun and informative (and indeed candid) interview, Also worthy of note: Give The Clown His Supper, showing just what a great actor Patrick Troughton was, a year before Doctor Who and A Slight Case Of... The Enemy Within, a very tightly written and excellent comedy from 1965 with an excellent, if unusual cast (Jon Pertwee, John Inman, Roy Kinnear etc). In fact, the whole programme was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hats off to all involved and here's to the next one!

It was a good day from my perspective as well and some serious last minute technical problems were hopefully negotiated around without them causing too much distraction (particularly with thanks to Tony Currie)! Many great items on view and I was finally able again to see an episode of Our Man Craig after about 45 years. Julie Stevens was a lovely lady and very happy to hang around and chat. Seeing those Out Of The Unknown clips jaw droppingly restored to colour was a revelation - I wanted to chew the furniture though as it stirred the desire to see the complete episodes so much!
Hoping to see everyone back for the December event!
