I have found a radio interview with Monty Python made for a program called King Biscuit Flour Hour, when the Pythons did the Live at City Center show in the USA.
(Well I didn't find it myself actually, I just arranged for the reel to be transferred.)
Could anyone clue me on the following questions:
*Is this rare?
*Should I send a copy to the python office?
*And where can I find the python office to ask if they want it?

Hi. King Biscuit Flour Hour was a syndicated FM radio show in America (primarily featuring musicians); this was likely recorded at WNEW-FM which, in the '70s. was the premier new rock station in the city. I've no idea of its rarity (I don't believe these have been repeated much), though I imagine sharing a copy with the Python office would be helpful (I do not know how extensive their U.S. air check collection is - they probably have it, but who knows?).

Over the last several years, a fair few of the KBFH shows have been released in the USA, but only the music shows as far as I know. Always a chance for the Python interview, though, I suppose.

Well, it isn't that great. In fact when I finally listened to the whole thing it was only a few minutes of zany introduction by Dave Herman and John Cleese, the rest was simply the show as we know it from record, but with a few things left out.
Only new item in this recording of the show was Neil Innes' "How sweet to be an idiot".
(I had hoped for something like MP examines Life of Brian, but this was slightly disappointing.)
