I remember Ronnie Barker from ages ago when a local PBS station ran "Open All Hours." I recently downloaded "Porridge" series one, and noted how much younger he looked in the latter series. Are there any significant missing episodes relating to Ronnie Barker? "The TV Lark" (radio series) comes to mind; perhaps some episodes of "The Frost Report" as well? news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/4307216.stm(For obit and tons of stuff about Ronnie Barker)

I have seen most of the tributes to Ronnie and none of them mention "His Lordship Entertains" which I believe is completely missing. Perhaps they were embarassed they had wiped it. On other programs stills have been shown. I Seem to remember that Jo Tewson and David Jason were in this. My main memory is of David as an elderly gardiner running the lawn mower (or being pulled by it) through the house. Anyone got any memories of this.

Yep - very sad this. I grew up watching him in "Porridge", "Open All Hours" and "The Two Ronnies". Was glad to see he finally got to return to serious drama acting in "My House in Umbria". Was also chuffed when he and Ronnie Corbett reunited for the millenium celebrations too. He will be sorely missed.

Yes, this was a follow-up series to Hark At Barker (LWT, 1969-70), which I watched as well, with the same character. Ironically, the LWT series exists but the latter BBC show doesn't! Hark At Barker has been forgotten now but ut should be out on DVD.
