I have 19 reel to reel audio tapes, at least some of which may contain off-air recordings of 1960s BBC radio. (The original owner is known to have made a lot of such recordings in the 1960s.) I have no equipment to play the tapes and I don't know what is on them - specifically whether any of it might be "missing" material of interest.
Would I be right in thinking that there is no one at the BBC who would take these tapes and investigate their contents? If that is the case is there anyone here who would like to do that, and, if any material of interest is found, pass it on to the BBC?
