Weren’t they walking around dressed in white with candles on TOTP? Just had a quick look on You Tube & couldn’t see it. I think it probably exists as I’m sure I’ve seen it again on TV since original transmission. Yes, I think your right Richard that seems to be my memory of it not sure if it still exists or not as I haven't seen it since it's original showing, and can't find it anywhere or the Promo.

I'm looking for a performance of Steeleye Span's "Gaudete" I'm not sure whether it survives from T.O.T.P's and I'm unsure as to whether it was performed on any other show. I do know there is a Promo for the song as I saw a short clip of it on some Christmas show about a year ago but can't seem to find it anywhere any help would be much appreciated.

Apparently, they performed at the Andover Music Club on Thursday 16th April 1970 according to Discogs they made 2 albums and an EP I don't think Jennifer is still alive, and not sure about Joy. I think they must have been folk singers that's all I can find out about them.

I bought the Barry Ryan 'Kitsch' single and was most surprised that it wasn't on a gain. Mind you I was only 9[/ I have a copy of "Kitsch" Mark a really good song on Polydor I thought Barry made several good singles on his own.

"Seasons" is my favourite song by Earth and Fire which I first heard on Radio R.N.I, the pirate station was always playing Earth and Fire material I always thought their lead singer was very similar to the women leads in Shocking Blue and Curved Air all very attractive women and all three excellent bands.

Thanks for posting this Thomas, Fairfield Parlour's one and only album "From Home To Home" is in my top 10 albums of all time and if I had the money I would track down the original on Vertigo from 1970 I'd love to see more footage from them.

I've just recently bought a record he made in 1973 called "Together" written by Graham Gouldman a beautiful song showing even in the 70s he could still make a good record.

I definitely remember seeing the promo for "Summer in the City" on TOTP the part that's always stuck in my mind is where the chap is riding the motorbike through the city with the high rise buildings that is the only bit I remember of it. The Eleanor Rigby and Yellow Submarine songs both from the same episode are etched in my mind along with the Beach Boys God Only Knows It's strange these fragments from the 2 episodes dating 25/8/66 and 1/9/66 are the only songs I can remember.I know I watched these 2 episodes as at the time I was mad on Adam Adamant Lives also shown on a Thursday night and the 2 episodes I saw " Sing a Song of Murder" and " The Doomsday Plan" were also shown on 25/8/66 and 1/9/66 although I cannot remember anything else from these 2 episodes of TOTP these few songs have always stuck with me there has always been the connection between these 2 TOTP shows and the 2 Adam adamant shows.

Glad you also remember it Kev, as the memory can play tricks sometimes but I'm pretty sure it's something like I've described.

Imagine if this episode did exist Johnny Kidd and The Pirates it would be worth seeing it for this alone I very much doubt it existing probably an inaccuracy of some kind but would be brilliant if it did.

I also seem to remember a promo shown on TOTP for "The Good The Bad and The Ugly" by Hugo Montenegro involving some women dressed up as Indian Squaws or something like that I've always wanted to see this again as haven't seen it since 1968 when it was shown I wonder if it still exists anywhere not sure if it was made by the BBC or not.
