Always thought Power would be the biggest contender for the rumoured recoveries but it would be wonderful to have anything at this point. Not sure why anyone would think that. Obviously, as most people who know me would say, I'd love The Power of the Daleks to come back more than any other but... I personally think it's one of the least likely ever to be seen again. Only three sales and two physical copies out there? No, for my money either The Web of Fear or The Enemy of the World are far more likely contenders. Hell, I can even see The Space Pirates as having a better chance of survival than many others... But, back to recent news: Strewth! I'll have to wait until Thursday to catch this news...

Fair enough, Paul. Enjoy the project.
And, for what it's worth, I wouldn't blame you if you accidentally deleted this thread: the banal "comedy" posts have made this rather a tedious read. Sorry, folks, but I'm a plain man and speak as I find...

I recall reading somewhere that, in Australia, "The Space Pirates" was routinely held back for repeat on rainy days, school holidays, cancelled sports events, et. al. In fact, it was the most repeated serial in the seventies, wasnt' it? About four or five times it was screened, I think.

I do have a question however. Pat has a rip in the knee of his pants in Episode Two of The Space Pirates. It continues into The War Games. Was this scripted or just a wardrobe malfunction on Beacon Alpha-4 ? Possibly just wear and tear after three years of rough treatment rather than purposefully scripted as such? Either they thought it looked cool and kept it that way to emphasise the "cosmic hobo" look or no one could find his original Power.../Highlanders trousers. Which is odd as Tom Baker seems to be wearing 'em in Nightmare of Eden ten years later...

The Power of the Daleks The Evil of the Daleks The Tomb of the Cybermen The Enemy of the World The Web of Fear Fury from the Deep The War Games The rest can be partials... The Dominators and The Krotons can be completely missing if need be...

Indeed. Three from Season Four, three from Season Five and The Space Pirates would be nice...

Does Mission to Magnus count? ;-) I would love to see the Celestial Toymaker! My trade off would be The Space Pirates. Weird! I love The Space Pirates! However I find The Celestial Toymaker to be some of the most over-hyped drivel every composed for the show (Episode 4 is particularly lacklustre and tedious) - I find it very hard to redeem. Probably I'd never be particularly bothered if none of the following were ever completed: The Reign of Terror The Massacre The Celestial Toymaker The Ice Warriors The Wheel in Space The Invasion
