Thank you John. Surprised to see they even released an album, something The Action, The Big Three, The Birds, Bern Elliott and The Fenmen, Jet Harris and Tony Meehan, The Mojos, Beryl Marsden and Twinkle never did (only latter day compilations!). They had the TV show appearances, and I guess the album was recorded fairly cheaply - it was released in Decca's "budget priced" "World of ..." series.

Hi Peter, I had a look in the NME around the time of the 5th Dec 1966 and unfortunately saw nothing regarding this group Their single does not appear to have been released until 13th January, 1967 according to Record Retailer. www.45cat.com/record/7n17242

I'd never seen the clip before. It was "£20,000 of work" that their agent claimed to the press to have secured for them, but it is not clear if they ever saw any of this as they may still at the time have been underage for fulltime work; they do not appear to have released a second single. I wonder if they also performed the (superior) A-side of their single on the show -'Can't See for Looking' (both sides had been written by members of the Uglys; 'Let Me Get By' was by Steve Gibbons and Dave Pegg) www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B8JwRP1Nww&ab_channel=ThePsychedelicGoBeat

He also appears to have been on the Brian Hyland & Little Eva tour earlier that year in February. But I can't trace any records he had released on Pye (or on any other label).
