Damian had found two redundant suppressed episodes of Keys of Marinus in Australia. He revealed this on Radio Free Skaro #408. They were never announced formally because the serial wasn't missing and the reels of lesser quality than what we already have, however from a research perspective they interest me.
I'm curious if anyone knows the date that he found them and which two they were? He mentions only that they were suppressed and they were found through interviews of past employees in, I believe, Australia.
If they are copies of either ep 2 or ep 4, I'm curious to know if the same "missing seconds" appear on the reels.
... also curious to know how many other redundant episodes were found over the years by various people. Not that they need to tell us, but it is an interesting subject. XD

Did Damian return them to the BBC, or are they still languishing in Australia? Do the BBC have a remit that even dupes be returned to the U.K for safe - keeping?

Good grief.Someone finds two episodes and mentions it en passant years (?) later? Employees of what? At the least, these are two other-albeit duplicate-episodes to tick off.At the best, they may point the way to other episodes.

I've tried to keep a list of all redundant episodes on my Timeline page. Will add this when I hear more details.

Actually this is the second set to come from Australia; isn't there already a full set of suppressed prints recovered from Australia existing at the BBC? It's in Wiped somewhere.
If so there these will likely have the missing seconds as well (assuming they're episodes 2 and/or 4).

I wouldn't mind hearing the story behind these ... even if they were redundant!

I wouldn't mind hearing the story behind these ... even if they were redundant! Yes I also want to know the back story on these as well. Every redundant print that turns up around the world may lead us to a non redundant print. . .

Wow, nice bit of news! Well done, Damian! Any further detail on how this was done and what was learned in the process would indeed be most welcome.

All these blooming duplicates, they're starting to get as many as missing episodes recovered! Wonder who's behind it? Autons, Zygons, Kraal, Daleks - place your bets!

This proves once again that without physically following up leads and inspecting store rooms, no one can be certain how many copies were made or where they finished up. Great stuff.
