I thought I might just mention a series of pages I've uploaded to my website over the past few months. The Telefantasy List: The Lost EraThe site as a whole is intended as a general list of English language telefantasy series, but I've also started down the path of adding various articles, the first set of which are concerned with missing UK telefantasy series which can still be experienced in various forms - books, movies, audios, tele-snaps etc. The seventh and final page in the series, which I uploaded last week, takes a slightly different look at the subject and covers items which have been returned to the archives by various means. Hopefully there's a few items in there somewhere which people find of some use. Anyway, that's it. All comments, errors spotted, or items that I've missed out would be gratefully received!

That's pretty good, Kieran. Sci-fi etc is not something that's my area of interest/speciality, but it was well-written, informative, and in my quick skim-through of half a dozen or so pages, I could not spot any errors. Great work.

I'd suggest two additions to the recovered section - the first season of freewheelers & inserts for other missing seasons; they certainly weren't known to exist back when timescreen published it's guide & they were held outside of the company's archive. One episode sadly without Soundtrack of Sierra Nine exists - bought by Tim Disney IIRC from ebay

The Sierra Nine info is definitely interesting - I knew an episode existed, but not that the soundtrack was missing. I suppose being an A-R programme it's lucky it's got that much in existence.

Lambda 1 - from Season 2 of Out of the Unknown is listed as missing, however it does exist. I've seen it on youtube! (really creepy one too). Also Frankenstein Mark II is listed as existing but sadly I don't think it does. Looks as if those two episodes have been mixed up!

All the right details, it's just that the correct episode titles aren't attached to them. Sorry about that. Thanks Tim

Just a quick one: The Voices from 1955 wasn't in two-parts, it was a one-off performed twice.
Also, The Insect Play isn't really fantasy or sci-fi.

Hi. Great site! Australia. Professor Poopsnaggle was a Grundy production. I don't THINK it aired on the ABC. Wikipedia states that it aired on ch9 - I suspect it aired on ch 10. Currently on the DWCA facebook page is a thread detailing peoples memories of shows that aired alongside Doctor Who. The show Andra was mentioned. Damien Shanahan stated there that the only tapes of this show were sent to Singapore. He has personally searched the vaults. They no longer exist. Perhaps he would be kind enough to provide more detail if you require it. :-)

I remember Channel 4 once showed Professor Poopsnaggle but edited into a telemovie IIRC.

Just a quick one: The Voices from 1955 wasn't in two-parts, it was a one-off performed twice. Noted. I know. Bit of a problem that one because I don't like allegories like that going in. However... some people would disagree! Basically, it's one of those where I've had to stick it in regardless. I've got issues with the likes of Touched by an Angel and Tobias and the Angel being included as well, but after a lot of thought I decided it's best to let people make their own judgement as to which side of the line they fall on on. I haven't yet made my mind up on whether Highway to Heaven should get similar treatment. I'm inclined to say no in that case, but... Professor Poopsnaggle was a Grundy production. I don't THINK it aired on the ABC. Wikipedia states that it aired on ch9 - I suspect it aired on ch 10. Ah yes. That'd be my fault - I always start a new page by copy and pasting the first table and then adjusting the info accordingly. That one obviously wasn't adjusted!
