Well, I can hear the fireworks so let's give a big festive "Thank You" to all of those searching for missing Classic (Real) Who on our behalf As I noted elsewhere 2013 was almost certainly the best year for recoveries since the BBC asked foreign broadcasters to return what they had in the late 70s/early 80s. Earlier I was of the view that it might be possible to reduce the number of missing episodes to less than 100 and that the best source for returns was probably private collectors who might hold "orphan" episodes. Since then we've learnt that Philip Morris has been out there on the front line actually checking archives/film stores - and with phenomenal results Sometime in the not too distant future we should know, definitively, that various places are "clean" which may, or may not, be good news. However, let's also give a big raspberry to those who invent rumours to drive traffic to their websites or invent facts, twist comments, etc to support their pet conspiracy theories !
