Just something I found while looking around Google. Bleeding Cool is claiming that the missing episodes Marco Polo and the Massacre Of St Bartholomew’s Eve have been found and are nearly "ready to go". The article also goes on to state that there are expectations for Power of the Daleks and Macra Terror and an Evil of the Daleks episode. Is this site reputable? It says "from what Bleeding Cool have been told" but it doesn't say who gave them the information, so im not quite sure what to think about this... www.bleedingcool.com/2013/11/25/and-id-have-gotten-away-with-it-if-it-wasnt-for-those-pesky-doctor-who-missing-episodes/

Didn't a representative of BC come on here to reply to questions at one stage?
A lot of comments criticised/supported them by pointing out that they were open about reporting RUMOURS.(RUMORS).

Anyone want to take bets on how many minutes until this thread gets locked or deleted? I don't see why it would be locked, were just discussing an article relating to potential missing episode discoveries.

To quote a certain figure in global food production, a Mr Ramon S, formerly of Yucatan: "Lies? Truth? Who knows? But I don't think we put them to the test, huh?" That site is also carrying the claim that '14 will see a seven ep season and a Christmas special - and same again in '15. Also, that Capaldi is down for a two-year contract. Maybe the stamp on the '05 era left by the famous Eccels is being recognized in this subtle less-is-more way? Admittedly, that's still longer than the 14 minutes of the 30th anniversary godawful - curiously, also in 3D like the thoroughly modern 50th - but even so... Wait and see, re the story about the missing eps and about this, is my advice. The rumoured claims are reported as that, make of them what you will.

Anyone want to take bets on how many minutes until this thread gets locked or deleted? Why the hell would it be?!? Not if everyone plays politely.

I've learned an enormous amount about the production and distribution of Doctor Who via these pages and there is plenty of well informed, witty banter. Have to be honest that I read the broadsheet press on a daily basis to stay informed but dip into the tabloids for a bit of gossip and scandal.
Rumours are pretty much the same as the latter to me as I can't resist peeking and they lure me into scouring the worldwide interweb. If it's polite and does n't insult the intelligence or high values of this forum then I hope the rumours are allowed to run.
I remember getting hooked on the Third Doctor and Target novelisations in the 1970s. My favourite was The Web of Fear Target book because of the London Undedrground setting, the yeti and the Second Doctor versus the Great Intelligence and I just presumed it would be repeated on a school holiday morning by the Beeb one day soon. I was absolutley mortified when I read the Sue Malden interview in Doctor Who Magazine a few years later and learned that many of those treasured stories I'd only read about were presumed lost forever. I was ecstatic when Tomb was returned, dodgy wires, Cyberleader costume et al and I am still absolutley ecstatic at being able to view Web almost at will via an iTunes download, all these years later. I'm amazed also at how good Enemy is as it seemed a dud via the previously only available episode. Everthing comes to those who wait or so it would seem in these happy times for Classic Doctor Who fans.
So, the rumours are exciting but having hoped beyond realistic expectation for so many years to see Web only for that to come true, I don't mind waiting months or even a few years for more treasures to be returned and lovingly restored. I'm keeping everything crossed for more excitement and I'm loving these pages and dipping into the tittle tattle elsewhere. Amen.

Bleeding Cool will post anything to get hits. Sometimes it's true and sometimes it's not. I woudn't consider them reliable on anything outside of comics. It's a fun site to visit but don't believe everything they say.

Anyone want to take bets on how many minutes until this thread gets locked or deleted? Unless people start swearing and attacking each other again then it won't be.

I dont believe this for a minute
' the BBC have been said to have been long, protracted and irritating, having only reached a conclusion after the BBC agreed to pay Coburn over a million pounds to honour his fathers legacy.'
Im sure the BBC wouldn't pay that sort of ransom money
