What we don't know is when the thing was actually filmed. The outdoor scenes were, surely, filmed a while ago to try and have a reasonable chance of decent weather. Remember that EotF/WoF have definitely been back in the UK since April.

Just realised the code the Doctor entered onto the wall of the Tower of London was 1716231163.
Probably means the four film cans sitting there are prints of An Unearthly Child.

Does anyone know what F6 0012/45 means? It's the label of the vault containing the cans.
With all the references and homages flying around I was wondering if this was another hidden message.

this is discussed in another thread on here. story F [or story 6] is the aztecs - could that be a nod to it? thats the series where the doctor states 'you can't rewrite history' someone else can pop a theory on here now.

There are three, anyway, not four - at least the first time we see it, haven't checked the others. I'll post a screen cap when I get home.
/edit: assuming I ever do with the trains as they are tonight! :-P
/edit (again): iPad didn't load the screencap above due to poor signal, I apologise. Good work there.

F (Found?) 6+0+0+1+2 = 9 / (Of) 45 maybe??? There are 44 Missing Hartnell episodes from 12 Stories, with 6 completely missing. interesting that 44 is nearly 45, and 12 & 6 appear in the F6 0012/45 label the 45th might be "Crisis, original version" or "The Urge to Live, original version" of Planet of Giants.

No I have no view on missing episodes either way, but one of my jobs is working with computer codes, so things like these numbers just stand out to me.
it may just be saying the current state of the Hartnell Archive, which would be correct with 45 missing. from 12 stories, with 6 completely missing.

There are 45 episodes from season three. There are currently 28 episodes missing from that season. The code means they've found either 12 or 16 missing episodes from that season.

What batch was Group F of Hartnells, the F could be reference to that as well.
Sierra Leone TV therefore bought GROUPs A to F of the William Hartnell stories
if Group F was T(Galaxy4) to Z(The Gunfighters) that would be 6 stories.

What fun! I thought the F-6 0012/45 might be a reference to a Bible verse or a line from Shakespeare. I like martinjwills theory better.
Although it's possible the F-6 0012 means six episodes from a 12-parter (i.e., most of DMP) and 45 could mean all of seasons 4 and 5?
I just have a little trouble with the line that Jack Harkness bequeathed the vortex manipulator upon the occasion of one of his deaths. Does that seem like something Jack would do? Bequeath a functional time machine to primitive humans? Perhaps that's a clue as well?

F600 is a Chilean techno artist who lives in Spain, maybe he's got a new 12" single coming out (45rpm, of course!) To be serious for a second I think we're reading a little bit much into something that was designed to do no more than look the part... (More on F600, I recommend " At Home Like A Tourist", great album)

Couldn't he - or the device itself - return to base (in the future they're from) once its licensed operator was dead? If not, yep - Torchwood makes sense. Maybe UNIT poached their Archivist?
