I've never heard this program before but I am surprised that the BBC allowed it! The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there. That said, both Monster Fun and Viz had strips with the same title. I shouldn't be surprised if another satirical working of the same ground happens at some point, not least as the lawyers will clean up along with the tabloids.

It's been found already.Ian Levine found the film-cans at Villiers House taped up with strong white gaffer tape with the legend 'Withdrawn,de-accessioned and junked' stuck over them.It was one of the original names for what later became known as 'The Daleks'! I think that might have been the whole point of the joke... Actually I was referring to the unfilmed Malcom Hulke story.

Actually I was referring to the unfilmed Malcom Hulke story. That would be 'The Hidden Planet'.

No new missing episode announcements and there is a few days until the anniversary. Might as well have a bit of humour whilst we impatiently wait. If the beeb squeeze in a large female opera singer at the 11th hour the will have the last laugh lol Singer lol

[Quoted post deleted at request of author - RM] So that's it then, full set, no eps missing, we can all go home and wait for the inevitable releases

[Quoted post deleted at request of author - RM] Since the films at the BFI have not been checked to see if the contents match the tin, and no doubt mis-filed tins anyway with the correct contents, I think you'll find all of those above are currently held at the BFI. So that's it then, full set, no eps missing, we can all go home and wait for the inevitable releases Now hold on surely any rumour has too be repeated at least thrice* before it came be regarded as confirmed true. Luckily the person who just served me at my local tesco told me the same thing, apparently misfiled dr who's (exactly the same episodes as listed Above) found at BFI. He told me he heard it from his dentist. * those very very optomistic among us who actually belive the omnirumour will no doubt be able to confirm, that its thrice repeated to make a rumour confirmed true.

I'll believe it when I see it maybe more are to come but not all 97. We have more chance of seeing the tallest roller coaster in world at blackpool(and I even seen plans for that at blackpool pleasure beach IN THERE ARCHIVE).
