For those who just can't wait to complete their Doctor Who DVD collection, the last "complete" story in the DVD range is going to be available from July 29th. It's described on the BBC Shop website as follows: Limited edition deluxe Tom Baker themed box set. Exclusive content and memorabilia beautifully packaged in individually numbered bespoke Time Capsule. Includes exclusive contributions from Tom Baker himself and an exclusive action figure.
• Exclusive interview with Tom Baker • Letter from Tom Baker introducing the set • Exclusive Tom Baker action figure • Advance DVD release of restored story 'Terror of the Zygons' with exclusive artwork • Audiobook and Novel with exclusive artwork
From witnessing the genesis of the Daleks to preventing the death of the universe at Logopolis, the Fourth Doctor was an adventurer on an epic scale. Armed with a gleeful smile, swashbuckling charm and righteous morality, he defeated Sontarans, ancient vampires and the Black Guardian. It was this incarnation of the Doctor that found and reassembled the Key to Time, that tried to reason with Davros at the birth of the Daleks, and was invested as Lord President of the High Council of Time Lords. Always selfless, his fourth body died saving the universe from the Master. But that moment had been prepared for...It's not clear whether or not it's just a vanilla release of 'Terror of the Zygons' similar to the stories in the Regeneration box set, or whether you'll get the same extras planned for the September 30th release...

So, if you're intending to buy the proper release anyway, you're basically paying sixty quid for a few pices of paper and a limited edition Tom Baker action figure. No, thanks.

The hardcore collectors will lap it up I am sure. The regenerated fourth Doctor in third Doctor clothes figure will probably become a collectors item.
