I'm currently watching the war Drama series "Espionage" and i must say for anyone here who likes 1960s drama this is an excellent series although i have only seen the first 5 episodes up to now the last one with Patrick Troughton playing the lead role in "He Rises on Sunday and We on Monday" and i have to say what a brilliant performence from Pat showing what a great actor he was , so i fully recommend this series for anyone interested in quality 60s tv drama.

I think along with 'Court Martial' were the very last co-productions ATV did with the Americans? after these it was on Grade's own terms. As you say a well made series and its failure in the US was a mystery. Michael (Red Shoes,Black Narcissus etc) Powell directed a couple of these just after his reputation had been ruined with 'Peeping Tom'.
As for Troughton you can see why he got the job as The Priest in The Omen just by his performance in Thriller, and his Out of The Unknown performance is surely one of the lamented pieces of lost television?.
