Have the following country's confirmed that they have junked the episodes? Malta, Nigeria,Rhodesia,Barbados,Uganda, Ghana,jamaica,Thailand, Mauritius, Sierra Leona, Ethiopia ? *cough* shameful plug *cough* missingepisodes.blogspot.co.nz/p/howmanyprints.htmlIt says 20 October 1967: Marco Polo 1 2 are sent to Iran as ‘audition’ prints what do you guys think ?

The original question was - is it possible that the countries who received the prints, have made duplicates themselves, and kept them? The consensus was that they theoretically could but there's no reason why they should. And no proof has been found to support it.

I'm sure that I once saw a documentary including footage of a literal mountain of video tape being burned. Films, records, videos, etc. All deemed evil western propaganda in some social revolution, would have been at some point in the 1970s. Mass destruction of any recorded material from Europe or America.

Maybe there are people out there who have them but they don't know they are missing episodes . The guy who had the Air lock episode had it for more then 30 years untill he gave it to the bbc
