I'm not sure if this has been discussed before , i always thought Candlewick Greens Who Do You Think You Are was a really good song , and a shame the that the Totps performance of this song is missing . I was wondering where this clip on youtube comes from , according to Derek Cleary he says "I was in Candlewick green for 30 years and i dont know one person in this video " can anyone help with this this cheers. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeLIlRRrME0

It's definitely not Candlewick Green. I'm old enough to remember their winning run on Opportunity Knocks. There was always at least 5 in the group. Also the singer just sang ( he didn't play guitar). It maybe that's another band performing on Opportunity Knocks with the track overdubbed later but... it's definitely not Candlewick Green.

Ah that solves the mystery of why Derek Cleary doesn't know anyone in the video thanks Mark.

I met one of the Candlewick Green roadies over at Skegness a couple of years back. It's actually Jigsaw playing on the Candlewick Green record. The band turned up for the session and just added vocals.
There has been some live (silent)footage of the band performing in Bridlington at the height of their fame. Unfortunately, while it is still on youtube, it's been made 'private viewing' only.

I think I saw that - does it have a bit of a parody of Peters and Lee in it with "Lennie Peters" about to walk off the edge of the stage? I did find that amusing.

Cheers Mike , going by this picture and then viewing the youtube clip they obviously arn't the same group , and yet the poster of the clip states that the video is made up of existing footage , it seems strange to use footage of a completely different artist that has nothing to do with Candlewick Green a strange one.
