Perhaps every regeneration story? Price wouldn't seem too bad if that was the case?

Cant see it being the Regen stories as they havent released Tenth Planet yet, and that would have to be there. Its possibly an error, as I cant find any info on the BBFC website either, but lets just hope its something special...my god, we need something.Something really exciting. Half a season held over from last year, a TV drama not commisioned by the DR WHO dept, and a 3D special, most wont be able to see in 3D. Aside from a lot of re-issued DVDs, and a live event, ( and I havent forgotten Longleat)...its not shaping up to be much to celebrate in my eyes. Yes Im a miserable old git,

It's probably just 2E cashing in on the 50th. Well, it's definitely that unless Power has been found. Let's agree it's the former...

I'm sure that the tenth planet would be released as a regeneration box set and not power, as power is a story of its own with no regeneration in it .

There have already been 'exclusives', 'World exclusives' ;D etc to say Tenth Planet will have its own release: a double DVD (this could be it I suppose with some Power animation). I doubt it's Planet of the Spiders, Logopolis or Caves as they've either been recently released, special editioned or box setted. It may well a rehash of the new series... It could be docu's and Dimensions in Time.

I don't think he is any more and he has already clearly stated nothing has been found regardless. It'll be a re-hash-cash-in.

It'll be a re-hash-cash-in. My feeling too. Dan Hall seems to love inflicting boxsets and this year the boxset quotient has been lower than usual, so what the hell, lets recycle some stuff, shove it in a box and voila...

We have a name and a rough price. It's really pointless speculating at this stage - people will only be whipped up into a fury that'll lead to anger when the release isn't TP and an animated Power..

Got my email reply from amazon as I expected they say the BBC has released no further information about the item at this time.
O, well

Nobody seems to know, but lots of people have been wildly speculating..! I didn't think there were any box sets planned for this year. With The Ice Warriors and Terror of the Zygons being pushed back, there is the possibility this box set is a backup plan in case 2/e is unable to keep up with the increased schedule of a DVD release roughly every three weeks. It is a release, but it might not have any new material.
