It's really not that hard to store them -- just need to be kept in a cool dry location - heat and humidity are bad for them. For me that means keeping them in an air conditioned room in the summer, but that's about it.

That's it? All this time I've held off buying one because I was worried about taking care of it and all I really need to do is keep my air conditioner working? LOL I always assumed they were delicate and needed carefully controlled conditions to prevent vinegar decay and other nasty things I've heard about. OK, I might end up bidding on this print if the price doesn't get too ridiculous.

Seems it's only Black and White but its already got bids of over £100 with 5 days to go.I wonder how much a missing one would go for? Blimey, if it were colour - that'd raise a few eyebrows!

There is only one Dr Who serial ever printed in colour on film. Bonus points for the first person to get it right...

Spearhead from Space! What do points make? ;D With inflation, a billion points gets you a cup of coffee... You are quite correct, however.

Spearhead from Space! What do points make? ;D But didn't they also print up B&W prints when sold along with the B&W Telerecordins of Pertwee episodes?

Spearhead from Space! What do points make? ;D But didn't they also print up B&W prints when sold along with the B&W Telerecordins of Pertwee episodes? They did indeed. Most likely every country pre-1978 (bar the Emirates) aired the serial in b/w. gallifreybase.com/w/index.php/Spearhead_from_Space

So one could say all enterprises film prints were b/w?

So one could say all enterprises film prints were b/w? I don't think so -- I have a print on colour film of an episode of Spearhead. I bought it a decade or so ago from someone in the US. If not from Enterprises, I don't know where it would have come from... However, all of the other serials on film were solely B&W.
