Not sure exactly where to post this but there was a feature on Delia Derbyshire at about 08-20 this morning (12 January) on Radio 4's "Today" programme. It should be available on the BBC iPlayer.

Not sure exactly where to post this but there was a feature on Delia Derbyshire at about 08-20 this morning (12 January) on Radio 4's "Today" programme. It should be available on the BBC iPlayer. What was the feature about? If this is about missing episodes, is there a link? It was about her work as a pioneer of electronic music with, of course, mention of the Dr Who theme. Here's a link - although it might change and will only probably work for a week www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01pt6ct'The first ever "Delia Derbyshire Day" is taking place later in Manchester. In 1963 Delia Derbyshire was working for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop when she converted a Ron Grainer composition into a TV theme-tune which has had children running behind the sofa for 50 years - Dr Who. Today's event claims that Delia Derbyshire deserves to be celebrated as a true pioneer of electronic music. The BBC's entertainment correspondent Colin Paterson has been to rehearsals.' I'd hope that most who frequent this corner of the www would find that interesting and there could be something that might make a good DVD extra.
