There have been some clips recovered because they were used in other shows, e.g. Blue Peter.
Are there any known missing shows which, if recovered, would give us another missing clip or two?

Episodes of 'Junior Points of View' would possibly throw up some clips, but I'm not sure any of these exist themselves.

I seem to recall something about an early Ask Aspel with a clip from Evil 7, but again, that no longer exists.

Junior Points of View and Ask Aspel - I've learnt something today!
Something for @ray Langstone (was saintsray) to keep an eye out for!

Yes I'm sure part of Terror of the Autons (in colour) was on Junior Points of View, not entirely missing but the PAL 2" is.

(quoted from www.purpleville.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/rtwebsite/recovery.htm): Approximately one minute of this story was discovered in its original PAL colour format by Paul Vanezis, acting on a tip-off from DWM archivist Andrew Pixley, on a two-inch quad insert tape for the magazine programme 'Nationwide'. It was featured in an article about Katy Manning, who played the Doctor's assistant Jo Grant, leaving the programme. The restoration team were gratified to find that when they compared their recolourised version of the story with the clip, they were a reasonably close match!

Almost certainty the reference is to the Nationwide clip. Junior Points of View ended in 1970.

I remember seeing an Ask Aspel episode which had clips from both Power Of The Daleks and Terror Of The Autons in it. www.timerotor.com lists this as January 29 1971 which sounds right, but the Ask Aspel episode no longer exists (Andrew Martin confirmed this on the old RT forum.) FWIW the Power clip was either the same or very close to the most recently recovered clip. The Terror clip was of the auton daffodil sellers. I do remember seeing a clip some years before that which I think was from Evil (the daleks being destroyed) but this was on some other show - possibly Points Of View (not Junior Points Of View I don't think) and I think would've been shortly after the episode was broadcast. What I do remember from Junior Points Of View (at least I think it was from there) was a piece where viewers had written in with their suggestions for the actor to replace Pat Troughton as the Doctor when he was leaving. I can't remember any of the suggestions, unfortunately!

Question: Are there known missing interviews of cast and/or crew from the 60s or 70s?

I was just doing a bit of digging about for info on the Junior Point of View episode that celation appeared on and came across an old 2004 ME thread where a guy called Bert Thung left this post.
I have an eight track audio recording off Junior Points of View. It's an extract where kids are writing into complain about the new Doctor Who, Patrick Troughton not being as good as Hartnell, and would they bring him back. "I say boo to the new Dr Who" was response that springs to mind.
Has this clip been verified and returned?
Also, maybe a question for Richard. Are we ever likely to see the existing Dalek clips from 'Out of the Unknown' episode "Get off my Cloud?" Maybe as a dvd extra?

No, because, to the best of my knowledge there are no existing clips from Get Off My Cloud! If you have some, please drop me a PM! Who was it who claimed to have the JPoV audio, by the way..?

"Bert Thung" frequented quite a number of forums back in the early 2000s and he used to run a blog about rare television. He disappeared off the map years ago and in all probability the name was just a pseudonym anyway.

Almost certainty the reference is to the Nationwide clip. Junior Points of View ended in 1970. Yes I now remember that the JPOV clip I was thinking of was of the film insert around the signalling with the brake lights of the coach. I hadn't actually seen the story then, not watching the Pertwee ones as I thought being all on Earth they wouldn't interest me.
