It's from US TV show Hullabaloo. 3 sets with 12 DVD's were officially released in 2000. The Kinks also performed All Day and All of the Night on the same show.

Thanks for that i had a feeling it was probably from one of the u.s shows like Hullabaloo or Shindig , it's just that somehow i'd never seen this clip before .

Well done for saying "trying".One of my pet hates is when someone says that something is "selling" for x pounds,when that's just the asking price.
Nothing is selling for x pounds until it's sold at that price.
