Hi all,
I've just returned to the world of Doctor Who missing episodes after a break of over 15 years, I'm currently collecting the DVD range...
When I was a fan in the nineties I had a huge collection of Film/Studio footage and so on, I got rid of the tapes years ago as I thought that I had nothing of interest.... however....
I had a copy of 40 minutes of film rushes (mute) from the location filming of Resurrection of the Daleks & about 50 minutes from The Five Doctors location filming (also mute), I had it on VHS and it was clear that someone had filmed it on a video camera pointing at a projection screen.
I can not seem to find any reference to the Resurrection footage ? does the BBC have a copy ? or was this part of a private collection ?

The BBC have copies of both of these. They're from privately held U-MATIC tapes that were created by pointing a camera at a monitor that was showing the rushes. It's not known if the original 16mm footage itself still exists any more.
From memory, both of these have the soundtracks.
