Below is an email sent to me the other day - I don;t know anythign about archive music, but the sender asked if I would make enquiries on his behalf, to see if the shows in question were really missing...anyone shed any light on it?
"I have just realised I might have reel to reel copy of some missing programs of the Dusty Springfield shows in the 1960s. her latest collection of material include shows 3,4, and 6 of series one plus all series two which have been recovered from wherever. the originals all being wiped as you explain in your website.
well I have average quality of the third and fifth shows in that first series. these are only vocal recordings, not film. but I am now wondering if there is any interest / worth in them.
I play them occasionally on an old reel to reel 'majestic mk11' which I originally recorded them on. as this is gettingpast its sell by date, I am not sure in the inferior quality is due to the quality of the tapes or the machine."
Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart. I've sent this information through to my contact at Universal Music (who released the box set you mention) and will let you know their response. Cheers.
