Great clips. While the clip title is "Lost classics" there is a big difference between what is lost and what is not in circulation. My gut is that most shows shown in prime time from the 1960s on do exist.
In the clip, Amos Burke Secret Agent, I know does exist because i recorded most of them when they shown in syndication. Man in a suitcase and the baron are both out on dvd. While THE Cat is not out on prerecorded one can find fan made sets with all the episodes (some in b/w, some in color). JOhnny Staccato was shown on trio so we know they exist also.
While Ive only seen a few episodes of checkmate floating around, i notice when i search, the whole series is out on dvd.
The others I can not confirm or deny their existance. Many things are buried in warehouses and not in circulation for various reasons such as small series quantity, rights issues, and precieved lack of interest.
An interesting story relates to Jack Benny. There were several Benny episodes that were not floating around. The story I heard is the network was offered money from a fan club along with rights approval but the network didnt want to bother. Yet they still exist and will see the light of day once the right person is the decision maker.
