Hi guys dont shoot me down here, but a thought just occured to me.How feasable would it be for the bbc to put out an announcement of missing material after the doctor who christmas special. It wouldnt need to be long.2 mins max? Millions of people will be watching it who maybe are not aware of missing material.Just a thought.

That is a splendid idea! With Christmas day telly time at an absolute premium, and with all TV shows these days even having their credits nattered over, i doubt it would be a goer due to lack of space. Someone with friends in high places at the Beeb might have a word. I'm not naming names...

It would never happen, I'm afraid. It's something that people suggest on a regular basis, but BBC One is very highly protective of its air time and such an appeal would not be permitted.

Thats a shame. After all as a business stand point alone it would be in the bbc own interests. The more episodes recovered the more chance of putting out dvds. And like i said the announcement doesnt need to be very long.Instead of 2 then maybe 1 min?But your probably right.I dont think they would go for it.its a Shame.

It is a great idea but as Richard said, its highly unlikely the BBC would indulge. Pity really.
