Hi there
I presume the answer to this is very much a "no" - but - do any interviews with Roger Delgado exist in either audio or video/film format?
I've never ever seen any, so hence why I presume the answer is no!
Whilst asking, I'll ask another really daft question:-
I guess nothing exists of William Hartnell ever talking about Doctor Who in either film or audio?

AFAIK, all that remains of Delgados thoughts on Who are a handful of press quotes and a few letters sent to early fans.

Such a shame that a (in my opinion) highly thought of actor and indeed, very influential character in the world of Doctor Who was never interviewed........

There were certainly news reports of his death, and I remember them using an extract from "Frontier In Space" - as to whether the news report still exists; well that's another matter. I have a feeling the answer is probably no.

I would tend to agree with Gordon, as regards any news reports (BBC or otherwise) existing in official archives any more is extremely unlikely - They would have been studio announcements, with clips. Only the odd film reports of news items survive from that long ago, in rare cases studio. However there must be one or two existing from fan circuits, as (from memory)I have a copy of a short one on cassette stored away somewhere (Delgado certainly, Hartnell I would have to check).

Don't know if any audio interviews were made or survive but the editor of the comic Countdown(Dennis Hooper) visited the Aldbourne location shoot of 'The Daemons' with a photographer. The editor meets Peter Grimwade, Jon Pertwee, Nicholas Courtney, Katy Manning. A feature with behind the scenes photographs appears in Countdown Annual 1972(published in 1971). No pictures or mentions of Delgado, but this might have been because they didn't want to give away the appearance of The Master.
