Hi, I don't know if anyone has seen this but I've found this on YouTube..a collection of adverts/skits etc that are DW related...it's only had a few hundred views so I don't know if it's well known...there's a long-ish interview with Jon Pertwee at the end too... www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUZ8Idan_mI&feature=relatedThere's one thing on there I don't recall ever seeing before to be honest and I wonder if anyone can identify it... at 2.14 there appears to be a red and black Dalek in a control room of sorts... I honestly don't recognise this scene or the Dalek... it caught my attention mainly for the Dalek design (larger than usual "bumps", red eyestalk and red lights) so I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on it?? Thanks!

It's from Resurrection of the Daleks. The dalek is black and white, but the lighting is red.

When is the Nationwide interview clip from? Pertwee's wearing his "Death to the Daleks" jacket but has shorter hair than usual. Presumably around the time of the launch of the "Jon Pertwee Book of Monsters" (whatever that is!).

The Jon Pertwee Book Of Monsters was published by Methuen in 1979, so it would be from an edition of Nationwide that year. I have no doubt others could narrow it down further by checking BBC Programmes as Broadcast logs.

I've seen that Nationwide clip before!
It always seems to me that towards the end of that clip, a bit of an awkward moment when Jon Pertwee lifts the top of the Dalek to reveal John Scott Martin - I think, in those days, the BBC kind of wanted to keep the "mystery" (!) of how the Daleks worked and that moment I guess wouldn't have been planned!!
