SunMakers behind the scenes

When I lived in Bristol our local news channel covered the location filming of Sunmakers from the British Tobacco building and I recall watching Tom and Louise recording a scene and Louise smiling at the local film crew and giving them a wave. K9 was filmed as well.
Was it BBC`s Points West as it was 1978 and I was only 10 yrs old so the memory is limited
I am guessing that it was wiped from the local BBC Bristol archives.

I can confirm that this has been checked. The film can for the very short 45" report does still exist in BBC Bristol's news library, but the footage itself appears to have long gone.

It was originally shown on the 14 June 1977 edition of Points West.

Although "The Sunmakers" DVD includes a couple of outtakes in the extras. It's the same scene several times.
