Another series that seems to have fallen through the cracks in the Kal. guide. Anyone out there have info on how much survives, who the "Pops" in question were etc. And did the titular lion perform the truly frightening "I Want A Hippopotamus For Xmas"?

Greetings Shaun!
I'm off out dancing tonight so I have not got the time, but I suggest you have a gawp at the Tony Rees Pop Diaries which should have some Pops and Lenny info.
Just type tonyreespopdiaries into google.
Best

Kev: Stellar work! I couldn't find this info in the Pop Diaries..was I looking in the wrong place?
Next question-- anyone know what the survival rate of these would be (apart from the Joe Brown / Beatles appearance)? The edition featuring the Tornados would, if it's still there, be the only surviving TV footage of Meek's houseband.

They are there but it is a lot easier for me to search! I just get the particular year I want on my original word document and use the find function!

I think the title is "Pops and Lenny" but that could be wrong... The only two editions held by the BBC are 2/11/62 and 9/11/62.
