Hmmn, just read that page if it is no hoax it just confirms the theory that there are collectors out there knowingly holding eps that are missing. Why I ask is there not (forgive me if there is) a compensation scheme for this sort of material, it seems pretty obvious to me that more eps would surface if there was!!!

I'm pretty sure this has been covered already but this chap does have a point. If you have a missing episode it would certainly have a high value on the collectors market however once a copy is returned to the BBC it would lose its rarity and value. Difficult to see why any body would rush to return a missing copy unless they want it returned or they receive some form of recompense
