The TOTP On ebay via World Service are very xpensive 50-100 quid some of them.

Stephen: They generally are.As believe were not produced in large numbers,and is its own separate entity apart from the BBC-TV show.Which makes these all the more interesting.Have met many a Transcription Disc Collector,are more out there than you would think.Same goes for early Wire Recordings,Wax Cylinders,Edison Discs,78's.Wherever there is a niche-collecting market (especially in regards to vinyl) these tend to sell at higher prices,generally,is not always the case there of course.Though,this has been a trend have been seeing for a while now.

100 quid these days isnt really a lot compared to most of it going towards buying food,clothes topping up Oyster cards and renewing BR rail cards

Interesting viewpoint Stephen.Guess it all boils down to being a matter of opinion here.That is my take on the matter above,think of it what you will.Although,the World Service disks do look to have been printed on very thick vinyl (close to 180gram?).Would bet the fidelity is simply mindblowing there in regards.Might someone who has listened to-have these discs possibly be able to comment there?
