The film inserts for Ab Snowmen 2 includes Victoria slipping on her arse. Most of the shot gets used in the finished episodes save for the last few frames. There’s a fine scream as she goes over as I recall.

Remembering a photo now, featured Frazer miming using a clapperboard in catching Gerald Blake's (hmmmmm) in a scissor fashion. In a mischievous fashion, all looked to be laughing quite hard:-D I believe this footage was found by Frazer before he was interviewed for his feature for Reeltime Pictures " Mythmakers".Believe was 8(Super possibly?)mm Colour as well.In similar fashion to Gerald Blakes reel,as showcased in grand Lost In Time DVD set, most definitely my most watched DVD set by the way Cheers,Lance.

Odd that no blooper reels exist, the sort of thing that was popular at xmass parties

Probably because there was little or no video editing in those days. The programme would have been assembled onto a master tape. If a mistake was made, the tape would be wound back to a suitable scene or shot change and the actors cued in by the floor manager as recording started again. So any blooper would have been wiped almost immediately. That was the way many studio programmes were made well into the 1970's.
Filmed inserts might have thrown up bloopers but there doesn't seem to be much film material during the Hartnell and Troughton eras (I'm no expert so perhaps someone else can comment on that). In those days film was sometimes shot mute and sound effects added later, so there would be no "live" sync sound in that situation.

also there was no reason to keep the bloopers. Even if they were shown at a xmas party im sure nobody thought in 30 years time these may come in handy for a program called Aunties Bloomers
