Does this series still exist? It was made for the Australian TEN Network and starred June Bronhill around 1980.

Yes, it still exists (unless something unfortunate has happened recently). No, nobody has any copies of it. Not even the cast.

Just found it listed in the Screensound archive. Ten must have deposited it there. Here's a list of what is there (first ep only) Item 1 : Preservation Material, 2" Quadruplex High Band, 00:24:00, Copied to 2 Item 2 : Duping/Working Copy, 3/4" U-matic Low Band, Sound, Colour, 00:23:13, Copied to 3, Copied from 1 Item 3 : AVC015441(1), Access Copy - Australian, 1/2" VHS Domestic, Sound, Colour, 00:30:00, Time-coded Item 4 : Duping/Working Copy, 1" C Format, Sound, Colour, 00:23:13 It seems that the only master copy is a 2". It would be great if someone got hold of this and released it on DVD, although knowing Australia there would be no restoration done. All the other eps appear to be there as well. www.screensound.gov.au/cgi-bin/waxhtml.exe/olc/olcsearch.wxh?sDBCode=PR

It surely shouldn't need much more than a bit of drop-out correction and a quick DVNR anyway. I doubt there were any film inserts - Ten would have been too cheap to do that.
