Does the pop music documentary by Tony Palmer titled "All My Loving" still exist, I wonder? It was shown about 1968, I think. The only part I remember is Cream playing "We're Going Wrong" with Ginger Baker's unusual drumming on this song.

Yes it exists (was made on film anyway). It has been repeated once since the original transmission and clips were also used in Sounds Of The Sixties.

Thanks for the information, Laurence. I'm glad to hear that it still exists, even if it is broadcast very occasionally. By the way, I heard yesterday that Cream are to re-form for a couple of gigs--can't be bad!

I caught it - anyone know why the second reel (the middle third anyway) was of poorer quality than the rest - all scratched, dusty, faded and, it seemed, 'zoomboxed', as they say? Asked at the time for any info, but was ignored as ever... (Spose the reel just disappeared.) (By the way, the raw footage for the Pink Floyd segment (as seen in this middle third in its rough shape, with added TOTP-style colour treatment) was auctioned on ebay back in June just after the BBC4 rpt. Went for £600. Hooray for whoever!)

Yes, i'd like to see that raw Pink Floyd footage myself! It would be far more interesting to watch than the heavily processed / edited version that's actually used in the programme. I wonder what the buyers' plans for it are and if we'll ever get a chance to see it?

It has been repeated once since the original transmission It has been repeated more than once, Laurence. Apart from the BBC4 repeat mentioned above, it was shown as part of "Festival '77" with snide introduction by Rene Cutforth ("I don't like this music, but you well might" [paraphrased wildly]), and again in the late 1980s (date unknown, but I recorded it off-air during this screening.)
