Nice recolourization attempt here Simon.Very fast edits between the short colourized sequences. As,know well how long this takes for the tedious frame-by-frame recolourization and then cleanup work, not to mention the graphics and editing of the clip together here.A job well done.
In regards to the "Mind of Evil" DVD release.I had heard a while back that the results were promising ( as per the released photo by Steve Roberts on the Roobarb's web forum).
However, like "Ambassadors of Death","Mind Of Evil" also suffers from many problematic issues.Of course,is widely known that episode 1 suffers from the lack of any chroma dots. This already causes a major issue for the James Insell Colour-Dot Recovery Process.Know there have been several other issues, which makes these two Pertwee adventures the most likely to be released last in line.As far as I know, these two require the most work here in regards.Makes sense, considering the time, and funds needed for such a massive restoration-undertaking.I hope I am mistaken, and we may be seeing these in the cards for a near future release. But "would not hold your breath there",sadly
Just seeing professional attempts on either of these adventures is a good sign. You would think, right?
I for one am very much so,anticipating the upcoming mentioned Restored "Invasion Of The Dinosaurs".Especially as looks like the 1974 Billy Bunter's Circus "Whomobile" appearance will be included on the release. And sourced from its D3 holding at the BBC,can't get any better than that!!Something very fun to look forward to in the future.
Excellent work here again Simon!!
Cheers,Lance.
