Would there be any use for Chroma-dots when restoring The Daemons and Terror of the Autons?
If you had a good copy like AYBS?, would that possibly provide a better result than a colour overlay? Would it be easier? Is it something worth testing out to see?
This is assuming that some of these prints possess the info.

Personally I think it's worth trying. For Planet of the Daleks 3 the RT blended the colourised image with the colour recovery image.

I happened to land on the following clip which really shows up how the possibility of Colour Recovery was evident years ago - www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVAKh1FSH48&feature=relatedThe telecine that ABC are using in this clip meshes very squarely with the chroma signal on the FR, particularly in the centre of frame, and in some parts the real colour can be seen in between diagonal lines of the 'complimentary' (reverse phase) colour. Probably the best demo piece for the process I've seen.

Be great to see both of them colourised like the Planet of the Daleks 3
