Do you mean this? uk.imdb.com/title/tt0276662/combinedand the answer to your question is sweet Fanny Adam. (unless you find a secret cave with the rediffusion archive in.) Ollie and Fred did turn up later in colour on the lift Off show with Ayshea Brough, but there is not much left of that either.

I think it was live anyway? in which case it might never have been recorded at all.
However there is always a chance that an artist appearing on the show requested his own recording for his CV..... In which case something might be around and might eventually turn up?
ps. you never mentioned poor old girl thingy cat willum ;D

oh....girl thingy cat willum i persume?....omg.....i must be getting old....oh well..... I only vaguely recalled him but had vivid memory of Wally Whyton singing 'PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON' with a thick white polar necked sweater and acoustic guitar. girl thingy Cat Willum apparently was sat at the presenters desk with Muriel Young on programme links early 1960s, too (obviously live). Apparently the Wally Whyton was 'The Musical Box' and the song might have been the theme. He cut a figure a bit like Noel Harrison. I have a memory of both plain white backdrop like the Schools chow 'PICTURE BOX' but also a London Palladium type stage with curtains and childrens audience singing along. In connection with that I also recall Gerry Marsden in a casual sweater acoustic role doing likewise and recalled this c. 1965 but not his group the Pacemakers for some reason! Some of this may have got mixed up with TUESDAY RENDEVOUS and FIVE O CLOCK CLUB; but in reference to missing material the NFA have one edition of 'Musical Box' so maybe one day I mioght be able to verify what I saw. In reference to Fred and Ollie they appeared as late as the last LIFT OFF ('with Ayeshea' by then); in 1974. Also GET IT TOGETHER though the latter exists; I think complete. For some reason I can remember; ('Blockbusters'); Bob Holness in suit jacket talking to the puppet Fred Barker and Ollie in school cap whsipering something in his ear with him leaning across. In this memory he was leaning an arm up in a shot from chest up. Don't know what that was. I do recall associating Ozzy Owl with series 1 and 2 of ACE OF WANDS so there must have been some links etc with him then (1970 - 71). That period all gells this and MAGPIE together for some reason; perhaps these items followed each other. The earliest I recall Ollie Beak and Fred would be about 1967 with Philip Elsmore as an ITV desk presenter. They seemed to be on hand assistants to the various main presenters over the years.

how come the board censor let your post through without censoring it ? ;D I wondered that too. I've just done a quick test and it's because of the row of dots immediately in front. with dots: .....girl thingy Cat Willum. without: girl thingy Cat Willum

It works if you run the first two words together; Pussycat Willum. If you don't, the Great Computer will wash your mouth out with soap, and substitute something disgustingly coy.

And it also seems that the "preceding dots" method has stopped working sometime during the eight years since this thread was last active, rendering the previous few posts unintelligible. I'm guessing nothing new of Fred and Ollie has turned up?

There has, an ITV sample reel which has a sequence with Muriel, Willum, Fred and Ollie. I don't know all the details. It's mentioned in the Five O'Clock Club thread.
