By the looks of the timecode Alan, it seems to be discontinuous t/c , could it be an insert to Pop Goes the 60's? After all Germany and the UK's versions were slightly different weren't they?

This is from 'This Is Tom Jones', broadcast in the USA on 6th November 1969, and in the UK on 21st December 1969. Also performed on the show was Jerry Lee Lewis’ obscure 1967 single ‘It’s A Hang Up Baby’:
Personally, I prefer the Denny Laine line-up, here performing a nice live version of Solomon Burke's 'Can't Nobody Love You':
