Interesting snippet in today's Daily Wail.
Midge Ure owned a vcr circa 76. He mentions it cost a grand and the tapes were an hour long and 40 quid a shot (a weekly wage)
He says he never saw the ends of films!
I wonder has he any wiped TOTP?

Weren't the tapes 60 mins max? Interesting thought, although with tape at a premium, he'll probably have only the appearances by Slik and Ultravox that featured him.

I gather that the BBC engineer chap who saved a lot of the TOTP clips we know and love kept a disproportionate amount of Pan's People. Who am I to judge? I met Babs and Cherry at a book launch once and was suitably in awe...
