not content with loosing programs the bbc has started to manufacture "lost series" the new adult comic cartoon "Pope Town" with Ruby Wax providing the voice for the pope! has been pulled before transmission after protests from Catholic groups but after being made at a cost of £2.5 million to us the licence payers

yes there has been talk over the weekend of selling it to other braodcasters (possibly channel 4) and a possible DVD release

they haven't "lost" it though, have they? they're just not showing it.
the whole thing sounds like a publicity stunt to me anyhow.

I saw recently the surviving 4 episodes of "Counterstrike",and was quite impressed.A shame episode 5 was never broadcast and wiped.
