Anyone else read about this cinema footage being rediscovered.
Spent many years in a shed, so it shows what can lie hidden out there.

The Titanic footage was released as a video around the 1990`s as "The Lost Film of the Titanic"...I know...I brought it...dont know if its still available...but very interesting....shows mainly the construction of "Olympic". ....also has shots of "Titanic" in fitting out dock.dateing from 1909 onwards....quality is superb!!!!

Alex.. i believe Kevin is referring to the most recent find of Titanic footage. This shows survivors, landing at New York from the rescue ship, obviously in pretty shocked state. Part of a newsreel package which should have gone for possibly for recycling (silver recovery etc) but forgotten about, ended up with a secretary who also forgot about it and left it in the shed until she passed away.
The footage is now for sale and is likely to be bought by someone in NY .

Good to hear from you helpful H! You've been keeping a low profile recently.
Did you get that consignment of Jacobs Fig rolls?
I sent them last Wednesday along with that Hughie Green Puppet Song footage. Should have reached you by now!

Oh Kev you remembered? thanks, i have scoffed the lot thinking about a recording career for the late Hughie Green.
Alex.. the film is still the country AFAIK, i think it is just a question of which archive buys it, i dont think obtaining a copy will be a problem, as i believe it will be on display to the public..somewhere

Possible some more other sheds or old Church hidden at basement in Britain, maybe Doctor Who, Titanic, Dad's Army, etc.
