Have you contacted Kal directly?
I go to their screenings and a nicer bunch of guys you could not meet!
Is their email working?
Try a different method of contact.

It's always taken at least a month to get any Kal books delivered in my case. If I paid by cheque I could understand a delay, but not when you do it through PayPal. I had to send a couple of emails and did get one back eventually, but the book does finally turn up. I've just received the OUT OF THE UNKNOWN one (exactly a month after ordering) - well worth the wait!
If this is their standard procedure then so be it, but it does get a bit disturbing when a mate tells you his was delivered less than ten days after it was ordered!
Otherwise I've always found Kaleidoscope to be an exceptional organisation in all the best ways.

Eight weeks later and a request for compensation brings the news that the books have been posted.
This is a very very sad commentary on an organisation many of my contacts in the world of television enthusiasm hold in great esteem. When the Drama guide is published I'll order, I hope this experience will turn out to be the exception and not the rule.

JM When ordering ANY book from Kaleidoscope expect at least a month before receipt of said item (that has always been my experience). They are not a publishing house or commercial bookstore ... it's a case of one or two people despatching orders, in their own time when they can. They have full time commitments outside Kaleidoscope. If you pay by cheque it won't be cashed before despatch - no matter how long it takes. PayPal by it's nature is an instant transaction ... but it won't speed up the order. Finally, when a new book is first published, there is always a intial surge in interest - more orders takes more time .. so when the Drama Guide arrives, expect more time for despaach during that first rush ... probably more than the standard month. If you want to hold onto your money - send a cheque!
