While browsing you tube i found a clip of Cilla Black performing You're My world not unusual i know but i've never seen this particular clip its from the 1964 Royal Variety performence i just wondered if there are any more music clips from the Royal variety out there and how rare is this clip it would have made a good inclusion on the Cilla Black dvd ,the link is below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7htozGpITTE |

I know the 1963 Royal Variety exists as It's the Beatles one. BBC and ITV alternated coverage so 1964 would have been the BBC. If the Cilla clip survives, I guess the rest will too. I have never seen any Royal Variety shows from later in the sixties than this though. The years 1965 through to about 1973 are the years I would have watched with my parents but I don't know if any of these exist.

It did! That's where this footage is from!
AFAIK All Royal Variety's exist from early 60's onwards apart from 1966.

I didn't realise this clip was on the Cilla Black dvd i think i'll buy this it looks good i should have checked it out i just automatically thought it would be the rsg clip thanks Richard.

All the Clips on the DVD are BBC so no RSG.

I'll answer my own question here as to what exists of the 1966 Royal Variety - Accoring to the BBC Motion galley all that exists is :-
Film of the arrival of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother arriving at the London Palladium for the 1966 Royal Variety Performance.
So as far as the performance it's self is concerned it IS missing completely then.
