judging by their body language my guess is that they are backing singers,I wonder who the woman next to Ayshea was? It's a funny sort of photo.Are they looking at a monitor?

looking at a monitor is certainly an option John, for some reason the 3 girls behind Ayshea are'nt very animated was it was a rehearsal maybe?, or was Lift-Off always "live"?

Ah.So she was named after She.(Eh?).I read Haggard as a teenager.Several in the 'Ayshea' series: www.goodreads.com/series/72235-she Don't know if I'd name a little girl after her,since her full title is She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed!

I must admit, i'd never heard of a lot of these acts outside of Lift Off either (and i've played in bands and taken an interest in pop generally for most of my adult life)! Peter & The Wolves? Esprit De Corps? Tea & Symphony? I wonder if any T.V. appearances from any of these acts or others is archived anywhere? It would be interesting to know what type of music they played. I'd guess M.O.R. / bubblegum. Wouldn't it have been nice if it was the same group every week under different names? And on that bombshell...
