BBC Motion Gallery is not the most ideal of sites to search (with results seeming to change everytime you search the same subject)! Even researchers within the industry find it difficult to use. Recently the production company producing the short films, presented by Giles Brandreth, for The One Show contacted the APTS Archive in a desperate attempt to get a copy of Sylvia Peters announcement of the opening Sutton Coldfield in 1949. It exists in various formats at Windmill Rd, but she was unable to locate it! Pleased to say that we were able to supply a copy and the resultant section of the film was used in the "Received Pronunciation" film, shown a month or so ago. I agree with previous posts, reinstate InFax on-line, it was so much easier to use!
