Your darn right there Tony T. Check out the thread " Have the BBC ever apologised" You will get a few grudge matches there. The term " Two ferrets in a sack" spring to mind. I do believe that some threads on the forum are the staging ground for a few personal wars, (even though it makes good reading ;D Steve

Mr Miller, Thank you for your comments, as you can see I started this thread on the grounds of seeking polite imformation on this subject, but a few out there seem to disagree, One posted the saying, "Looked like it was typed with one hand....it was i have an illness ( i wont bore you all) that only permits me to use one hand, hence the spelling mistakes. Childish petty comments wont get anywhere.... Christ, is this thread still going? Looking back I see the person who accused you of the one-handed typing was me. Is your illness mastubator's cramp?

I have to agree with John Miller, this Fourm tends to be the the base for so-called-proffessional "BBC" spokesmen who unleash their sarcasam here, because they cant get away with it at their place of employment, As one of the more sarcastic people to contribute to this thread, I can honestly say that I have no ongoing professional (sp) association with the BBC. I have contributed to programmes on radio and television and been paid for it, but my workplace is my office at home and I can get away with what I like there. The one-handed jibe? That came from me. I am not a troll - I am a writer with a genuine interest in archive television/radio and missing episodes. However, I look with dismay upon people who ask blindingly obvious questions repeatedly and do so in a manner that suggests that they were picking their nose furiously when they should have been listening to their English teacher. As for having half-a-brain-cell, I do indeed have half a brain cell. It is connected to the other half of the brain cell and it coexists with many others in my brain. Anyway, who are you to accuse me of being a troll? Join up and log in, or it'll look like YOU'RE a troll. L

So how come there are missing episodes then louis? And by the way whats your dogs name :-) Those might well be blindingly obvious questions, but apart from the absence of a couple of commas, a capital letter and an apostrophe, they're too well written for me to turn nasty on you.

Mr Barfe...I dont deny I dont know much about this subject, my original intentions were asking friendly advice on missing episodes, and hopeing not to offened anyone, but does it give you the right to critisise people with a disability?....I cant recall saying anything offensive to you, I hope I can continue here without upsetting people.
Thank you
Lester

Do you think that disabled people are above criticism, then? You don't upset or offend me, you just annoy me. There is a difference.

Take no notice, Lester. He's just winding you up. Ask all you like and some of us will do our best to answer you as best we can without sarcasm.

Sounds as if Lester is too but all he gets are rude replies. Do we want to put people off from this site? Why be like that?

Take no notice, Lester. He's just winding you up. Would that I were, Gary. I'd answer him sensibly if he asked anything worth asking and I knew the answer.

Sounds as if Lester is too but all he gets are rude replies. All he gets from me or generally? If the latter, doesn't that indicate something to you?

All you seem to promote is a superior tone of voice which is rude. Why not talk to people as if they aren't all idiots. A bit of politeness doesn't hurt anyone. Specially if they haven't knowingly attacked you.
