Hi, Doe anyone know the name of a children's television programme which was shown sometime around the mid-late 60's (at least that's when I saw it either in Malta between 1964 and 1968 or Zambia 1968-1971). All I can remember of it was the opening titles which would feature a pair of very large wooden fort doors which would open. Sorry I can't give any more information, but I was born in 1964, so I would have only been 7 when I last saw it at the oldest. Thanks in advance, Peter

are you thinking of 'The forest rangers' ? . A very popular (in the UK) Canadian adventure series, with lots of Canadian stereotypes IE a wise Red Indian, mountie policeman, and resourseful out door kids who help catch criminals from their home made fort.

Hi, Yes it was that - I've just done a search in Google and at the top of the results page was a link to a website dedicated to this programme. They have two versions of the theme tune - the first one I didn't recognise, but the second one (and my wife will confirm this) I hummed a bit of before clicking on - not bad remembering the theme tune for something I've not heard or seen in more than 30 years. Thank you so much for helping me solve this mystery. Peter

Since we're on the subject, does anyone happen to know its archive status (here or in Canada)?
