The october 16mm sales list from derann contained an episode of "Owen M.D." - probably an omnibus of the two part story given the stated length of the print. - the story title is "Alison" and it was broadcast in November 1971 - it was £39.99 & sold straight away; anyone here pick it up ?

David -- Try calling Derann -- while they probably wont give you the name of the buyer, they might be willing to give a message to the buyer for you... Probably actually would be best if Paul Vanezis or Andrew Martin (or someone else from the BBC) calls them....

Steven - sage advice there. I was considering suggesting to them that they refer to the kaleidoscope lost shows page before selling british tv in future but i don't know if that would be counterproductive - If one of the BBC chaps gave them a call they would be better placed to sound them out about loaning material or simply offering it to them first - I would have thought though that derann would have sold plenty of missing tv over the years and been contacted before.

no and no, I asked them. they do sell a great deal of tv, crane, the avengers, no hiding place etc but it's mainly 16mm and 8MM copies of ITC stuff, but it is possible that missing tv does turn up from time to time but they didn't seem to know much about it

If Crane turns up, there's every chance it'll be a missing one (as only two eps survive out of three series!) Eyes peeled...

a 16mm episode of crane did turn up on the derran catalogue quite a lot, don't know which it was though, it will be worth contacting them about this (if they remember it it was about 15 years ago now) they seem fairly aproachable.
